The Japan US Military Program (JUMP) connects past and present service members, families, and government civilians who have served in Japan.  Through social networks and events, JUMP builds relationships and provides opportunities for service members to engage with each other.  JUMP provides a powerful foundation for sustaining the solid alliance and relationship that exists between the U.S. and Japan.  JUMP is a collaborative effort between Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA, the Embassy of Japan in the United States and the National Association of Japan-America Societies.  The program was launched in April 2015.

The Japan Society of New Orleans was selected to host a JUMP event for 2018.  The Honorary Consul to Japan in New Orleans, Donna Fraiche, is the Honorary Chairperson for this event.

Our event will be held at the National World War II Museum, Stage Door Canteen on Thursday, 26 July 2018 from 1730-2030.  This is a FREE event for those service members, their dependents and DOD civilians who served in Japan.  Food and beverages were provided.
